Happy New Year and Welcome Back!

We hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful break. As we step into the new year, we’re excited to welcome our staff and students back to school on Monday, January 5, 2026. Cafeteria menus are posted, backpacks are coming back out, and it’s time to switch back into back-to-school mode! We’re looking forward to a fresh start, new goals, and a great semester ahead. Let’s make 2026 a wonderful year of learning and growth!

JH MINI WHEAT CAPITAL BBALL TOURN. 2026

Jan. 12-17, 2026 is the Junior High Mini Wheat Capital Basketball Tournament. Location: Chisholm High School & Middle School Gyms. View PDF link attached for brackets, gym assignments, and more info HERE!

PHS ACADEMIC TEAM 2026

PHS Academic Team has had a successful season and will advance to the class 4A OSSAA Area Academic Bowl on January 17. They placed 3rd at Regionals in November to qualify for Area, a level PHS has not achieved in over a decade. There are 32 total teams (four brackets) battling it out at the upcoming Area competition. WRESTLING HOMECOMING THIS THURSDAY 1/8/26

PHS Wrestling Homecoming will take place this Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the Maroon Athletic Center. The Maroons will host Perkins. The order of events will be:
• 6:00pm JH Boys Dual
• Homecoming Ceremony
• HS Boys Dual

2026 BASKETBALL HOMECOMING 1/13/26

PHS Basketball Homecoming is Tuesday, Jan. 13 vs. Chisholm at the Maroon Athletic Center. The order of events for the evening is:
• 4:30pm - JV Girls
• JV Boys follow
• 6:00pm - Varsity Girls
• Varsity Boys follow

FCCLA DISNEY PRINCESS BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER 2026

Perry FCCLA is hosting an exciting "Disney Princess Breakfast" fundraising event on two dates: Saturday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 31 from 9am-12pm at the Perry Lower Elementary School gym. BOYS STATE & GIRLS STATE DELEGATES 2026

Our local Perry OK American Legion Ellis Jirous Post 53 offers scholarships to PHS JUNIORS who want to attend Oklahoma Girls State & Boys State. This week-long program offers students the chance to learn about government, leadership, and civic engagement through hands-on experiences. *Juniors interested in this unique opportunity are asked to contact PHS Counselor Mrs. Nelson by Jan. 16!*
• Girls State will be held at University of Central Oklahoma on May 24 to May 29, 2026.
• Boys State is May 23-30, 2026 at Rogers State University in Claremore.
