PERRY PUBLIC SCHOOLS WALKING TRAIL PROJECT

Now is your chance to be a part of the NEW WALKING TRAIL and leave your mark in Perry Schools history!

The walking trail by the junior high on 15th Street is still in progress, but inching closer to the finish line. This project features a half-mile sidewalk path, two outdoor classrooms, and a pond. Landscaping, lighting and more is coming soon.

We are ready to add benches along the trail and in the two outdoor classrooms. The outdoor classrooms will offer a unique opportunity for educators to use the space for student learning in the fresh air. Each outdoor classroom will be shaded by trees and have eight benches for students and one for the teacher.

There will be a total of 23 limestone benches (5' long) available and we are seeking sponsors to dedicate a bench!

Benches are $1,200 each and open to individuals, businesses, organizations, or classes to sponsor. Sponsoring a bench will include a plaque inscription with the sponsor’s dedication or commemorative message.
Upon completing this form, Perry Public Schools will invoice you.

Thanks for joining in our efforts to beautify the school grounds and provide a community green space!

For more information or questions, please contact Superintendent Chad Wilson at 580-336-4511.
