Parent Portal
One of the best ways for parents to stay informed on their child's progress in school is to create a Parent Portal account. Sylogist is our Student Information System and is a secure internet-based website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your student does while at school. This service will allow you to view your student’s attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, progress, assignments, emergency information, and more. The parent portal is located on the homepage of the school website and also on the PPS app. If you need a login or password reset, contact Emily Miner at [email protected] Please provde your full name, date of birth, students names with grade level in the email.

School Communication
PPS utilizes the following outlets for school news information: school website, PPS app, by email and phone on file in the parent portal and also on our social media account on Facebook. If you have news to share, contact Amanda Wilson at [email protected]

School Messaging System
It is always our goal to have the most up-to-date contact information for our families. One of the ways we will reach out to parents regarding important events, school closings, and safety alerts is via our text messaging service through BrightArrow. If you received text messages and/or emails from our district last year AND your cell phone number/email address has not changed, there is nothing further you need to do. If you did not receive text messages/emails from the district last year OR your cell number or email address has changed, there are TWO very important steps you need to take.
1). Update your cell phone number during registration/enrollment, OR provide the Student Information Director with the cellphone number where you wish to receive text messages. Contact Emily Miner at [email protected]
2). You MUST opt-in to receive text messages from the district.

School Calendar & Events

Please review the full school district calendar on the school website or app. All PPS events are located on our Google calendars on our school website and app. If you have school related events to add to the calendar, contact Emily Miner at [email protected]

Immunization Requirements

Junior high students entering 7th grade are required to have the Tdap booster vaccine. Pre-K students should have DTaP, MMR, and Varicella vaccines before school starts. Your child’s school site secretary will need an updated shot record on file, which you may email or drop off before the first day of school. If you’d like to inquire about filing for an exemption, contact your child’s school site secretary or Registrar.

The Noble County Health Department is hosting an Immunization Clinic on August 3 from 1pm-7pm.

School Meals & Lunchroom Application

Child Nutrition information is located under the 'Department' tab in Child Nutrition. Monthly menu's are also posted on the 'Menu' page of the school website and app. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or credit card online via the Parent Portal. Parents may drop off payment at the Child Nutrition office, school site office, mail it, or send it with your child to school.

All families are strongly encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced school meals program application each school year. Even if you think your family doesn’t qualify, all applications submitted help our school obtain state aid funding, which directly ties into every district program and department, including instruction, athletics, technology, etc. By completing this application, you are helping all students at Perry Public Schools.

The Free and Reduced lunchroom application is available to submit on the Parent Portal or download a printer-friendly PDF on the school website. Paper copies are also available at each school site office or in the Child Nutrition office. A new application must be submitted every school year.

Note: If you are already on SNAP or Medicaid, you can automatically qualify by entering your case number. Please complete the top portion of the application with student name, grade, birthdate, case number, and parent/guardian signature - and you’re all done! If you are interested in applying for SNAP, we can help with that too.

NEW for 26-27 - All parents/guardians should add funds to their child(s) account to begin the school year and must maintain a positive account balance throughout the school year.

Contact Lindsey Harmon for any questions at [email protected] or 580-336-9900. The Child Nutrition office is located at 901 Elm Street (inside the old JH building on the High School campus off Elm Street).
