SOFTBALL ALL-STATE HONORS

The Oklahoma High School Fast-pitch Softball Coaches Association (OHSFSCA) announced the 2025 All-State team. Of the four Perry All-Region athletes eligible for the All-State team, three were selected for the team and one was selected as second-alternate.

Perry High School seniors, Joely Kukuk, Bella Porter, and Alliyah Shrum were named to the 2025 All-State Softball Middle West Team (3A-4A). Kukuk was selected as an utility-pitcher, Porter was selected as a catcher, and Shrum was selected as an outfielder.

Brooklenn Moses was selected as the second alternate for the All-State team. If any two players are unable to fulfill their role or become injured, she will receive full All-State credentials.

Perry Head Softball Coach Bryan Hayes said this season tested the team’s strength and character like few others. “We had so much ability and very little opportunity to use it,” he said. “After losing Bella and Aaliyah to injury early in the season, we spent the next 20 games adjusting and watching our unsung heroes step up with unselfish attitudes and incredible effort.” Hayes said despite the adversity, he was proud of how his team persevered. “Their grit, determination, and loyalty to each other never wavered,” he said. “I’m incredibly proud that we got our maximum number of girls on All-State because they all deserve it.”

The All-State award is the highest possible award given to high school softball players. Outside of a state championship medal, it is the pinnacle of recognition in Oklahoma. Perry's successful softball program continues to boast elite honors and a host of awards.
