On Sat, Oct. 4th, the band traveled to the Glenpool Blue & Grey Classic, where they performed among 20 bands, 8 of which were classified as 3A.
The band earned 2nd place in 3A during prelims and 6th overall (2A–4A), advancing to the Finals.
In Finals competition, the Perry Band rose even higher, finishing an impressive 4th place overall!
Then on Tues, Oct. 7th, the band competed at the Tri-State Marching Band Competition in Enid. This event is judged on performance quality rather than head-to-head placement. Out of 17 bands, the Perry Band was only the second group of the day to receive a I (Superior) rating! 🌟
