The boys team earned a 2nd place team finish with a score of 324. Leading the way for the Maroons was Sawyer Vollmer, who shot a 77 to place 4th overall. Kian Thompson carded a 79 to tie for 6th, while Ethan Cecil shot an 80 to tie for 8th. Rounding out the team were Mason Duke with an 88 and Ruiz Ochoa with a score of 101.
On the girls’ side, Rylan Rodgers shot a 100 to tie for 7th individually, while Sara Shade finished 10th with a 103. Maddy Kukuk rounded out the Maroons with a score of 141.
Both teams represented Perry well and continue to build momentum for the fall season. The girls golf team competes next in the Mustang Fall Tournament at Earlywine Golf Course, OKC, on Tuesday, October 14th and the boys' next tournament is the Cushing Fall Classic at Buffalo Rock, Cushing, on Monday, October 20th.
