REGIONAL CHAMPS

Perry High School was a host site for the OSSAA class 3A region 7 baseball regional tournament this past Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 at Ripley Field.
 
In the first game of the tournament, Perry was victorious over Holdenville 10-1.
 
Next, the Maroons faced the Chandler Lions in the second game, winning 4-2.
 
In the finals, they defeated Chandler 12-2 to claim the regional tournament champion title. In the win, the Maroons had 12 runs on 11 hits against the Lions' two runs and six hits. 
 
Notably, the Maroons maintain an undefeated record of 17-0 against class 3A opponents, boasting an impressive overall season record 32-6.
 
They will move on to the Super Regionals next week. Stay tuned for more updates and make plans to support the team and coaches on the road to state!
