Perry Public Schools Superintendent Resigns
PERRY, Okla. – The Perry Public Schools Board of Education announces the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Terry McCarty. The school board accepted his resignation today at a special board meeting.
McCarty has served as the district’s superintendent since 2017. His resignation is effective immediately.
The Board of Education will soon begin a thorough and comprehensive search for a replacement. They plan to identify an interim to manage the day-to-day operations until a replacement is hired.
Perry Public Schools would like to thank McCarty for his leadership and dedication for the past six years.
