PHS SIGNING DAY

PHS recognizes athletes on National Signing Day
 
Perry High School held a National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday, February 1 where two senior athletes signed their letter of intent to play sports at the collegiate level.

Angel Tiscareno has committed to join the Trojans baseball team at Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma. Seminole State is a National Junior College Athletics Association division I program. 

Angel has been a standout athlete for the Maroons baseball team for the past three years and looks forward to a successful upcoming spring season. He was recruited by Seminole to play middle infield. He is the son of Cesar and Adriana Tiscareno and plans to major in business at Seminole.

Dezmond Williams signed his letter of intent to play football for Southern Nazarene University. The Crimson Storm is a NCAA division II school in Bethany, Oklahoma. He has played multiple positions for the Maroons the past four years, including wide receiver, running back, safety, and kicker. He was recruited by SNU as a defensive back. 

Dez is the son of Kevin and Lyndonna Williams. He plans to major in mass communications. His goal is to someday become a meteorologist. 

Each student-athlete’s family, school staff, coaches, and teammates were in attendance for the celebration.
