SUPT. MCCARTY MESSAGE

December 20, 2022

Greetings Maroon Family!

As we wrap up the first semester, I just want to say "THANK YOU!” to all our families, students, staff, and community members. We are extremely grateful for this community and the continued support!

We have many things to be thankful for this year and many successes to be proud of. But, one thing I’m most proud of is the incredible staff of Perry Public Schools leading the way and planning for the future. They are committed and caring. They show up each and every day, sometimes working through evenings, weekends, breaks and summers. They spend time collaborating with one another and they seek opportunities to grow professionally. All of this is done to provide the best education for the students that attend Perry Schools.

There continues to be a great deal of optimism and momentum, which is extremely exciting as we continue to progress as a school district. Great things are happening here and we could not do it without your support.

While there are always challenges that need to be faced, we are much more successful when we face them together. And, in this day and age, it truly takes all of us working together. Thanks for being an extraordinary community through it all.

As a reminder, students will be dismissed early on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. We will see all students back on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 when the second semester begins.

I hope you all have a terrific holiday season!
