Today (Thursday, Sept. 29) at 3:15 p.m., the RAVE Panic Button App was accidentally activated on the Perry Lower Elementary School campus. This activation caused the Junior High and the Lower and Upper Elementary Schools to go into a campus-wide lockdown. The School Resource Officer was on-site at the lower elementary when the activation occurred and quickly assessed the situation. The false alarm message went out to staff shortly after. At no time were any of the students or staff in danger.
