Crystal Deken

Upper Elementary STEM Teacher

Crystal Deken joined the Maroon family in 2022. She is from Moore, Oklahoma and graduated from Moore High School. She went on to Oklahoma State University to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and her Master of Leadership and Public Administration degree from MACU. Her family includes her husband Dave (Perry graduate) and children; Molly and Savannah. Mrs. Deken has been teaching since 2007 in various grades including 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade as well as several different afterschool programs and yearbook, and is so happy to be part of Perry Public Schools now. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. A fun fact about Mrs. Deken is she did her student teaching in Costa Rica, which she says was an amazing experience!
