The HS wrestling team will go to Regionals in Blackwell, February 12-13. 3A State is scheduled for February 26th at Jim Norick Arena and 3A Dual State is scheduled for March 13th at Stride Bank Center in Enid.
- $20 each as a fundraiser for MAD Week (Making a Difference). They come in size small to XXL. Orders are due this Friday, Feb. 5th to the high school office or Ms. Schieffer’s classroom. Accepting cash or checks - made payable to PHS Student Council. Funds raised for MAD Week support a local cause selected by the students each year.
Monday, Feb. 1, 2021: The Perry Maroons basketball teams will travel to Pawnee. The JV boys game starts at 5 p.m. and varsity girls tip-off at 6:30 p.m., with varsity boys to follow. Pawnee gym protocols are listed below: 1. Temperature checks for all spectators, coaches, and athletes who enter the building. 2. All spectators, coaches, and athletes must wear a mask at all times, except the athletes that are on the floor. 3. Visitors will sit on the west side of the gym and home fans on the east side. 4. This Saturday, Wrestling will host the BIG 4+4 in Perry with teams from Altus, Blackwell, Choctaw, Deer Creek, Pawhuska and Ponca City. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. NO FANS are allowed in the gym for this event, but fans can watch it live online at www.trackwrestling.com Tonight's dual against Ponca City in Perry begins at 6 p.m. with our regular gym protocols in place. Perry Public Schools continues to seek classroom substitute teachers and has recently approved a pay increase for subs. Certified teachers will receive $90 per day and substitutes who are non-certified will receive $80 per day.
Substitute teachers get the opportunity to work with all grade levels and subjects. The district is seeking professional, energetic individuals who enjoy working with youth and value academic excellence.
