PHS Student Council Announces Howdy Week Spirit Days

Perry High School is kicking off the school year with Howdy Week, a week-long celebration designed to build school spirit, encourage student participation, and bring some fun to the first weeks of school. Students are invited to participate in each day’s theme during the week of August 17 - August 21.

The schedule includes a variety of fun and creative themes:

  • Monday, August 17 – Maroon Monday: Wear maroon to show your best Perry school spirit!
  • Tuesday, August 18 – Adam Sandler: Break out your baggiest clothing for an Adam Sandler-inspired look.
  • Wednesday, August 19 – Western Wednesday: Show off your best Western attire.
  • Thursday, August 20 – Biker vs. Surfer: Dress up as either a biker or a surfer.
  • Friday, August 21 – Eras: Dress according to your class’s assigned “era”—Freshmen are Babies, Sophomores are Kids, Juniors are Adults, and Seniors are Elders.

Students are encouraged to join in throughout the week and help make Howdy Week a fun and spirited way to celebrate being a Perry Maroon!

Please remember that the school dress code remains in effect for all Howdy Week activities.
