PPS Welcomes New Staff

Perry Public Schools officially welcomed its newest employees during New Staff Orientation, marking the beginning of an exciting new school year.

The orientation provided new staff members with an introduction to the district, its mission, and the resources available to help them succeed. Throughout the day, participants learned about district procedures, met administrators and fellow colleagues, and began preparing for the first day of school.

"We are excited to welcome these outstanding individuals to the Perry Public Schools family," said Superintendent Chad Wilson. "Each of them brings unique experiences, talents, and a passion for serving students. We are confident they will make a positive impact in our classrooms, on our campuses, and throughout our community."

Perry Public Schools is pleased to introduce the following new staff members for the 2026-2027 school year: Caleb Burns - Perry High School, Kandis Chance - Perry Lower Elementary, Kolten Childers - Perry High School, Payton Hoatson - Perry Lower Elementary, Alex Koehn - Perry High School, Leigha Layton - Perry Upper Elementary, Mandy Leigh - Perry Upper Elementary, Maddie Miner - Perry Lower Elementary, Glenda Noteware - Perry Lower Elementary, Bill Spears - Bus Driver.

As the district prepares to welcome students back to school, these new team members join a dedicated staff committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for every student.

Perry Public Schools looks forward to the contributions each of these individuals will make and is excited to see the positive relationships they build with students, families, and fellow staff members throughout the coming school year.
