As students prepare to return to school, we would like to remind families that Perry Public Schools will continue to enforce the "Bell to Bell, No Cell" policy during the 2026-2027 school year.
Students may bring cell phones and other personal electronic devices to school, but they may not use them during the school day - from the first bell until the dismissal bell - unless an approved exception applies, such as a documented medical need or an emergency.
The policy applies not only to cell phones, but also to smartwatches, earbuds, tablets, and other personal electronic devices.
PPS appreciates the partnership of families as we implement this policy. Our goal is to reduce distractions, increase student engagement, and create a more focused learning environment where all students can be successful. Parents are encouraged to discuss the expectations with their students before the first day of school.
Thank you for your support as we work together to provide a safe, focused, and productive learning environment for every PPS student!
