Students at Perry Lower Elementary have been able to enjoy a brand-new playground filled with exciting equipment and opportunities for active play, exploration, and imagination thanks to a generous grant from the Malzahn Family Affiliated Fund.
The new playground features a wide variety of engaging equipment designed to encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction among students. Some of the highlights include a climbing wall, ropes course, spinning saucer, multiple slides, and several other interactive play structures that have already become favorites among students.
The addition of the playground has created a sense of excitement across campus as students eagerly explore the new space during recess and outdoor activities.
“This is the coolest playground ever,” one Perry Lower Elementary student shared excitedly. “My favorite part is the spinning saucer and climbing wall because it feels like an adventure!”
School staff expressed gratitude for the support that made the project possible and emphasized the positive impact the playground will have on students for years to come. The new equipment provides students with opportunities to build confidence, stay active, develop coordination, and enjoy meaningful time with classmates outdoors.
Perry Public Schools extends sincere appreciation to the Malzahn Family Affiliated Fund for investing in the students and families of Perry Lower Elementary and helping create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
