With spring storm season upon us, a few reminders regarding our district's safety plan....
We have saferooms located at the Maroon Athletic Center (MAC) and the Lower Elementary School, which are reserved for students and staff only. In the event that we need to take shelter, students and staff will relocate to the nearest safe place or shelter in place when necessary.
If severe weather hits toward the end of the school day and students have NOT loaded buses, they will be held at the school until the all clear is given. If students HAVE already loaded buses, they will be taken back to the Lower Elementary to shelter in the safe rooms.
While students remain sheltered safely, please watch the PPS app, website, and social media for updates. We will not release students until conditions allow and the all clear has been given.
