PERRY ELEMENTARY FAMILY NIGHT SET FOR APRIL 9TH

Perry Elementary School is inviting families and community members to an evening of fun, learning, and connection at its upcoming Family Night, scheduled for Thursday, April 9.

The event promises something for everyone, with a variety of engaging activities designed to promote literacy, creativity, and hands-on learning. Attendees can browse and shop at the school’s book fair, while students and families participate in a range of literacy games and interactive activities aimed at making reading exciting and accessible.

In addition to literacy-focused events, guests can explore free STEM activities suitable for all ages, offering opportunities to experiment, build, and discover together.

A highlight of the evening will be a special appearance by the PHS Aerospace class, which will have its drone cage set up for attendees to experience. For $5, participants can enjoy five minutes of hands-on drone flying time, giving them a unique glimpse into aerospace technology.

The night will also feature a fundraiser hosted by Mrs. Kinzie’s 6th grade leadership class. While supplies last, visitors can purchase a meal deal that includes a hot dog, chips, and a bottle of water for $5, with proceeds supporting student leadership initiatives.

Organizers encourage families to mark their calendars and attend this exciting community event. Perry Elementary Family Night offers a chance to learn, play, and support students—all in one evening!
