PJH Boys Golf Places 3rd in Opening Tournament

Perry Junior High golfers opened their season at the Sperry Tournament held at Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa.

The Perry boys team, coached by Carson Rames, tied for third place with a team score of 201.

Leading the way for the Maroons was Keagan Ward, who tied for third place overall with a score of 43. Isaac Jackson followed with a 48, and Kanon Proctor with 52. Lee Hulet finished with a 58 and Luke Wilson shot a 59.

The Perry girls also competed in the tournament. They are coached by Jaymi Thompson. Miley Houghton and Brynlee Belveal each shot a 63, while Rylann Porter recorded a 64.

The tournament marked the first competition of the season for the Perry Junior High golfers as they begin their 2026 schedule.
