Hearts & Hooves Livestock Show

Perry Public Schools will host the Hearts & Hooves Livestock Show on February 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Noble County Fairgrounds, offering special needs children and teenagers from Noble County schools a unique, hands-on opportunity to experience showing livestock in a supportive and inclusive environment. Students from Perry, Billings, and Morrison are set to participate.

The one-day event is part of the Noble County Spring Livestock Show and is designed to give participants a chance to enter the show ring alongside experienced student mentors. Each participant will be paired with an active member of FFA and provided either a sheep or a goat to exhibit.

The event is free to both exhibitors and spectators, and all exhibitors will receive a free lunch. The show is also open to the public, with concessions available throughout the event.

Serving as guest judge for the Hearts & Hooves Livestock Show will be Noble County Sheriff Matt McGuire.

Jordan Bolay, Perry Public Schools Special Education Director and event organizer, said the show represents more than just a livestock exhibition. “We are incredibly excited to host the Hearts & Hooves Livestock Show,” Bolay said. “This event provides an inclusive activity where our students can feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated while experiencing something truly special. Seeing the confidence and joy that comes from participating alongside their peers makes this event meaningful for everyone involved.”

Bolay emphasized that the goal of the event is to create lasting memories while building confidence and connections for participants through agriculture-based learning and community involvement.

Community members are encouraged to attend and support the exhibitors as they take part in what organizers hope will be an unforgettable experience for all involved.
