AVIATION CLASS TO COMPETE IN OSU SPEEDFEST

The aircraft will be flown in 3 to 5 rounds that consist of multi-plane heats. Scoring is based on distance traveled (flags) within two minutes, on a course with two turn markers spaced 330 feet apart. One point is awarded for each turn line reached. Awards are based on the best total sum of flag scores for all heats during the contest.

Perry Airport Manager, Terence Hulet, is co-sponsoring with Mr. Dwyer to help the team prepare. Very cool project for these students and we wish them the best of luck!
